How Much Can You Spend On Your European Cruise?
You have started to form the idea of wanting to plan your vacation. It has been a dream to go on a European cruise, and now you have decided you are going to go for it. Great! The planning stage is next, which is truly exciting in itself, that is after you have planned the budget of course, that’s always the awkward part.
The first thing you must really decide is how much do you want to spend and how much can you afford to spend. If you have decided that you are going to do this maybe once in a lifetime adventure then you will more than likely want to spend as much as your budget will allow. If on the other hand you are fairly sure you will be planning future European cruises then if the budget is a bit tight right now you may want to go for one of the lesser expensive ones this time around.
Once you have determined the budget range, being a minimum to maximum that you will allocate then you are ready to go cruise shopping.
To begin with, just research all the various European cruise locations that are available. Don’t look at the price range to begin with, just enjoy your time at looking at what is available. You are probably going to be surprised at the number of European cruises that are available.
The next thing you need to do is highlight 4-5 of them that interest you the most. Again, do not center on the prices right now. Once you have narrowed, your choices down go to the next step.

Now is the time to start looking at the prices. First pick the ones that are outside of your budget range, but do not totally discard them. Look them over and pick out two or three things that you found you liked the most about the cruise. Do this with each one of them. By the time you are finished, you will have a list of items that appeal to you the most with taking a European cruise.
With your list of favorites in hand, go to the list of cruises that fit within your price range. Start reviewing them thoroughly. Find the ones that contain the most items on your favorites list.
Now you have gone through an exercise that has identified what you can afford for a cruise, what interests you the most, and what is available. You now have a good starting point to begin the next stage of your planning. This is making the final decision as to which one you are going to take. From that point, you will have to begin booking the cruise by picking out which agency you want to go with. At this point, you should do some budget shopping. You know what category of European cruise you want; now see which travel agency can give you the best price. This way there is no guesswork in your decision-making.
