You will need to decide what would be the most appealing Norwegian excursion to you. You may prefer the northbound shore, and if so then you will be pleased with what the excursions have to offer.

There is a half day excursions available when you begin in the village of Geiranger. Here you will witness one of the most beautiful sights in the world being majestic waterfalls spilling into the fjord. Then you will move on to board a ferry in Eidsdal that will take you onto Alesund, which you will be able to view from the top of the Aksla Mountain. This may be about a half-day tour, but you most certainly are not going to be lacking anything by way of adventure.

If you are the adventuresome type and enjoy the rides found at amusement parks then you may particularity enjoy this next tour. Sometime during this day tour, you will get to drive down the hairpin bends of the Trollstigen road. It is just as able to match the thrills that any amusement park ride could. At the end of which you will get to relax and enjoy the beautiful valley of Romsdal. Followed by a tour of Molde there is no doubt you will be ready for a restful night after this jam packed day of sight seeing.

You may be the type that enjoys sight seeing but likes to restrict it to one major event.  If so there is much available to your preferences as well. Perhaps a nice quiet but informative 2-hour walking tour would appeal to you. Not only would you be getting some great exercise but also you would find the 2 hours some of the most intriguing time of your journey. You could pay a leisurely visit to Alesund. After the fire, here in 1904 it was entirely rebuilt in the Art Nouveau style. On your visit here you will get see first hand what the culture is like and relive a little of its history.

Many people just love to visit cathedrals and museums. They find no problem spending many hours just browsing through them. There is a perfect 2 ½-hour tour that takes you through the Nidaro Cathedral and Ringve Museum. No doubt, once there you will wish that you could remain much longer. The time you do spend there will be most delightful and informative.
